Light Corridor (2016) is made up of two opposing large-scale light surfaces that blink on and off at a frequency of 7.8 Hz (please refer to the description of 7.8Hz, installed in the Pereda Gardens); on the top and the sides of the two walls, LED street lights and bulbs also go on and off. Flickering at this frequency is known to act upon our brain waves and to produce a profound sense of calm and a light euphoria in whoever experiences it. It also induces strong optical hallucinations: one may see morphing colour fields and the external lights can be seen as coloured shadows floating freely in space, repeated endlessly.
