Taking its cue from the sensory deprivation tank—an enclosed space with no light and sound, in which one bathes in water saturated with Epsom salt at body temperature—this work is to be experienced naked. One floats in a space whose translucent structure allows daylight to filter through. While the user of High Psychotank bathes, her or his body appears as a shadow, a part of the sculpture for the visitors who wander around the work. A shower is provided to rinse off and clean before and after accessing the tank, as well as a space for changing.
