In the most recent painting of the exhibition, one denotes a clear presence of colour, which had become more subdued if not absent since 2014. Such is the case with this painting or with Conjured Parts (Syria) Aleppo and Damascus (2016). Both works also share a similar structure, which consists of digitally altered found press images that are used as the source for the background of each painting. The title refers to the subject matter of the image, in this case a large anti-immigrant demonstration held in Dresden shortly after Chancellor Merkel announced Germany would greet one million war refugees from various parts of the world.
