LIVE THE DREAM AND SPEND A NIGHT AT CENTRO BOTÍN!
Elevator Bed (Cama ascensor), 2010
Throughout the duration of the Carsten Höller exhibition, Centro Botín is offering visitors the chance for a unique experience: spending a night in one of the wonderful art rooms in the Renzo Piano building, contemplating the exhibition in full.
Elevator Bed (Cama ascensor), 2010 is a round bed equipped with all the comforts of a luxury hotel room so that visitors, together with one companion, can spend a unique night enjoying views of the bay of Santander.
The bed revolves and can be raised up to 3.5 metres above the floor, allowing its ‘guests’ to contemplate the exhibition in full from this magnificent vantage point.
Furthermore, guests can make use of the Psycho Tank (Psycotanque), 2014, an installation located in the same room. It is a tank filled with body temperature water saturated with Epsom salts in which the visitor can float, achieving a state of absolute relaxation. Overnight guests can also use the Insensatus toothpaste created specifically by Carsten Höller.
The dream of sleeping at an art centre encouraged Carsten Höller to create a series of beds that have been installed in various museums to great success with high levels of public participation!
Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity and book your night’s stay at Centro Botín!
