Renata Lucas’ work in the architectural field and the socio-cultural context of a site generate a series of sculptural interventions in which the idea of breaking down the barriers between the inside and the outside is often key. Furthermore, the relationship between the present and the past, confers upon his works a relic value, as through always working on ephemeral installations, these relics act as a document or witness to something that has since disappeared.
