The Botín Centre is a flagship international arts centre, a new meeting place which, through art and culture, will revitalise Santander, and a pioneering venue for the development of creativity through the arts, which will help generate economic and social wealth.

A project of all and for all in which to live experiences that enrich, inspire and enhance the growth of persons. A space in which to experience and boost personal and social creativity thanks to the arts.

To be a Botín Centre Volunteer is to commit yourself and contribute, with drive and dedication, to meeting its goals, enjoying its programme and involving yourself up close with its activity to help others to get to know it, live it and become enriched by it.

WHO CAN BECOME A VOLUNTEER?

  • People with cultural and social interests that are willing to enrich and inspire others, dedicating their time and enthusiasm to a unique project.
  • Open people with good communication skills that are prepared, from different areas, to support the Botín Centre activity.
  • Committed people willing to acquire new knowledge and to develop skills, attending regular meetings, periodical training events and cultural activities.

  • Providing support to the Friends of the Botín Centre service: information, assistance, preparing the Friend card, etc.
  • Collaborating in activities exclusively targeting Friends.
  • Cooperating in the Visitor Experience service, offering information and assistance.
  • Helping out with group management.
  • Participating in the carrying out of visitor satisfaction surveys.
  • Providing support at institutional events and acts.
  • Collaborating at exhibition openings and workshops.
  • Helping out in exhibition rooms by furnishing visitors with information.
  • Supporting mediators in their educational work with children, young people, families and adults.
  • Collaborating in the organisation, reception and seating of groups.
  • Collaborating in the preparation, implementation and development of the activity.
  • Offering assistance and information.
  • Helping out at concerts, conferences, film cycles, theatre and dance and other activities.
